Who we are:
We are community action group that works on service projects, raises money for
scholarships and school supplies, participates in annual events like Lifewalk (to
raise awareness and funds to combat HIV/AIDS) and Cena En El Barrio (help feed
low-income families in December), and helps to provide resources to the
community.  We are an all-volunteer organization.
Our organization does not have a
lawyer to help you with legal matters.
 We encourage you to visit our friends at

Membership:
To join LULAC 4871, mail $35 in cash, check or a money order made out to
"LULAC 4871" to LULAC 4871, PO Box 192336, Dallas, TX 75219. This $35
membership fee includes a one-time initiation fee and membership fees for the
district, state and national LULAC level-organizations. Three memberships for only
$35.   Make sure to include your name, address (city, state and zip), phone number
and email.  Membership is open to anyone that wants to advocate for Hispanic
rights and build bridges between the LGBT and Hispanic community.

General Meetings:
LULAC Council 4871 - The Dallas Rainbow Council generally meets (NEW TIME)
every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. We meet in Oak  Lawn and Oak
Cliff.  We encourage you to RSVP at LULAC4871@aol.com to get our meeting
location.
